Facility - Upgrade Complete!

As all of our partners know, we have been in the process of a plant move and upgrade that affects both the Roscom and Tektube operations. Due to the current economic climate, as well as the ever escalating costs of fuel over 2008, we made the difficult decision to shut down our Las Vegas operation and move the Tektube operation into the Roscom facility located in Croydon, PA. Needless to say, fitting two state of the art facilities into one building was no small feat, but we are pleased to announce that the move is done and was a complete success. You can see from the pictures below, that we have managed to keep both of our production centers looking top notch despite compressing them from over 500,000 down to approximately 125,00 square feet.

During the plant relocation we took the opportunity to reengineer our production lines, the original design allowed us to produce one hose per production line. The addition of newly designed heads, and changes to our downstream equipment allow us to manufacture two hoses simultaneously with the same equipment, in the same amount of time. This doubles our effective capacity. These changes were difficult and required support from ownership, employees, vendors, and customers alike but we have found that they were well worth the efforts.

 

We have always had an open door policy with respect to customers, vendors, and partners visiting our facility. We continually improve our state-of-the-art facility by re-investing and incorporating new equipment and technologies. This allows us to provide advanced PVC processing, increased quality control, electronic ordering, and an innovative delivery system.
